Technical Requirements 💡
Sagicc recognizes the importance of providing a robust infrastructure to support the smooth operation of the platform. That's why we collaborate closely with your company to ensure a seamless and trouble-free experience. Below, we summarize the minimum technical requirements necessary to ensure optimal performance on user terminals and equipment. This set of technical requirements establishes the foundation for optimizing the operability of Sagicc, enabling the maximum utilization of its advanced features.
User workspace requirements
Spacious and comfortable workspace, with a minimum width of 60 CM.
Stable and secure internet connection.
Headsets for telephone communication, preferably with a direct connection to the equipment.
User equipment requirements
As Sagicc is a 100% web-based platform, it is necessary for user terminals, regardless of their role, to meet the following minimum requirements:
Processor: Core i5 2.5 GHz / AMD Ryzen 5
Memory: 8 GB RAM, with at least 2 GB RAM available for the browser tabs used by Sagicc
Resolution: 1366 x 768
Available Hard Disk Space: 160 GB
Internet Browser: Google Chrome (duly updated)
Sagicc uses WebRTC technology, which is natively compatible with most modern browsers. However, we only provide official support for Google Chrome. Safari, Edge, and Firefox will also work, but not all features are fully supported.
For users requiring advanced tools such as the native softphone provided with Sagicc, we recommend the following adjustments to the minimum requirements for a fast and stable experience:
Memory: 8 GB RAM, with at least 3 GB RAM available for the browser tabs used by Sagicc
Additionally, we recommend conducting the Octane 2.0 test on the user's equipment to ensure a score of 30000 or higher. This test should be performed on the same hardware, network, physical location, and browser that the user will use for their activities.
Octane 2.0 is a metric developed by Google that evaluates platform performance. A higher score in Octane 2.0 is associated with faster and more efficient page loading times. This indicator takes into account both your hardware and browser choice. You can find this test at the following link: Octane 2.0 JavaScript Benchmark
General network requirements
To ensure an efficient and secure network environment when using Sagicc, it's essential to have sufficient bandwidth to support the anticipated number of simultaneous interactions (calls, messages) on your Sagicc instance. We recommend the following network configuration to ensure the best experience when using the platform:
Internet connection with a data transfer speed (link) of 3 Mbps upload/download or higher. To ensure real-time communications, the following bandwidths are additionally required:
Telephony: 64 ~ 256kbps (depending on the codec used)
Video call: 720 ~ 2048 kbps (depending on the required video quality)
Network latency less than or equal to 150 milliseconds
TCP ports 80 and 443, required for web traffic and secure communication via HTTPS, allowing encrypted browsing and data transfer.
TCP/UDP ports 5060, essential for real-time communication via protocols such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), vital for call signaling.
It is recommended to open RTP ports in the range of 10000-40000 UDP, as they are fundamental for real-time voice and video data transmission, ensuring optimal quality in communications.
Telephony channel network requirements
The following are the minimum network requirements to ensure optimal performance in telephony channels in Sagicc:
Bandwidth: 256 kbps per call
Call quality latency: <100 ms for local networks, <250 ms for WAN/cloud networks.
Jitter: < 20 ms jitter
Packet loss: < 1% for voice calls
Codecs: ulaw, alaw
Channel configuration requirements
Email
Before connecting an email account to Sagicc for receiving and/or sending messages, validate that the account to be connected has IMAP and SMTP protocols enabled, necessary for processing incoming and outgoing messages, respectively.
To configure the channel in Sagicc, have the access data (password) of the account to be connected on hand.
Facebook
The company must have an active Facebook page representing the business, enterprise, or brand.
Have access data (email/phone number and password) to the personal Facebook account that manages the Facebook page of the company.
Instagram
The company must have an Instagram for Business account (Instagram for Business ) representing the business, enterprise, or brand. This account should be linked to the company's Facebook page.
Have access data (email/phone number and password) to the personal Facebook account that manages the Facebook page associated with the Instagram for Business account.
Web Chat and Web Forms
Before installing a web chat or web form widget on the company's page, access to the page's administration or its source code is required.
Preferably, have the support of the person responsible for the administration of the website.
