WhatsApp Templates 🗨️

WhatsApp message templates are messages with a specific format that businesses can use to initiate a conversation with a customer, send notifications or customer service messages to people who have agreed to receive them. Some of these messages can be reminders, shipping information, problem resolution, or payment updates.

 

Due to WhatsApp limitations, when a customer sends a message to your company's WhatsApp Business account, a 24-hour window or session is opened, and within that session, the company can send as many messages as required without the need for a message template. Once this session expires, the company can only send approved message templates to the customer, reviewed and approved by Meta and WhatsApp.

 

Each message template must be sent to Meta and WhatsApp for review and approval before it can be used.

 

From the WhatsApp Templates module, you can build and send your message templates for Meta and WhatsApp approval directly from Sagicc. In the module, you can check the status of created message templates and create new message templates for use in conversations with your customers.

 

Only message templates for companies whose WhatsApp Business API provider is Sagicc and its allied provider can be created through this module. If the company has its own provider, templates must be created directly with that provider.

 

Through the side menu, you can access the WhatsApp Templates module.

Sagicc will take you to a list where you can see all created message templates. For each template on the list, you can see basic information such as the name, language, category, status, and creation date. By clicking the “Add WhatsApp Template” button (in the upper right corner), you can view a form to add a new message template and send it for approval by Meta and WhatsApp.

 

If your Sagicc instance has multiple WhatsApp channels configured, associated with different WhatsApp Business API accounts (WABA), use the selector located at the top of the list to view WhatsApp templates for a specific account.

 

 

By clicking “View” (in the “Options” column), you can access detailed information about the template. Also from “Options”, you can “Delete” an existing template.
