With Sagicc, you can send text messages (SMS) to your customers, either directly or in mass messaging campaigns. To set up and activate a channel of this type, you must have contracted the SMS sending service directly with Sagicc. Messages sent using Sagicc as an SMS provider will have an additional cost defined in the contract.
The information required for the configuration of an SMS channel is provided by the provider and is as follows:
Country Code: Corresponds to the country code for phone numbers. Currently, the Aldeamo service is available for Colombia with code 57, for Panama it is 507, and for Mexico it is 52.
URL: It is the access URL to the provider's API. For example, for Aldeamo, the URL https://apismsi.aldeamo.com is used.
Username: It is the user with which you log in to the provider's administration platform. It is usually an email address or username.
Password: It is the password established for the provider's user.
Test Phone Number (a validation SMS will be sent to this phone number): It is any phone number (it can be the Sagicc administrator's) to which a test text message will be sent to verify that the channel is being successfully configured. It must be an active, operational, and capable phone number to receive SMS.
If your company has contracted the SMS service with a provider other than Sagicc, it is possible to develop an integration with that provider. Consult with the Sagicc sales advisor the possibility of purchasing an engineering hours package to develop the integration between the provider and our platform.
